Purpose:
To support one another while sharing our unique perspectives and approaches in working with young children and their families while expanding understanding, appreciation, knowledge and awareness of the clinical issues involved in Infant Mental Health and to support the Mecklenburg community in enriching the quality of treatment services for those we serve.
Who Should Attend:
Counselors, Pediatricians, Medical Professionals, Clinicians, Students, Early Intervention Providers, Early Childhood Educators, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and any others who share an interest in the social emotional, behavioral and relationship development for infants and toddlers.

Outline:
Infant Mental Health, Peer Consultation will meet once per month on a selected Thursday on the dates listed below. The meetings will last 90 minutes and be held at the Carlton Watkins Center 3500 Ellington St, Charlotte, NC. Meeting times are set from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Bring your lunch and participate in the discussion!

Case Consultation includes an open group discussion regarding treatment and service needs of young children and families in our community; this open format is friendly, supportive and encouraging. In the past months treatment modalities have been discussed, barriers to treatment have been processed and creative interventions have been shared!
